Dajin Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd. (002487.SZ) announced that its subsidiary, Tangshan Dajin Offshore Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., has formally signed a contract with a subsidiary of the well-known Dutch shipowner Jumbo for the construction of a new generation of green, intelligent multi-purpose heavy-lift vessels. The total contract value is approximately USD 156 million, equivalent to about RMB 10.69 billion. The two vessels are scheduled to be completed and delivered in batches in 2028 and 2029. This heavy-lift vessel contract follows the company's previous projects in deck transport ships and non-powered semi-submersible barges, marking another mainstream core vessel type successfully secured in the high-end offshore vessel sector. This further enhances the company's comprehensive layout in offshore vessel design, construction, and delivery, strengthening the foundation of its shipbuilding business. The client for this collaboration is a leading European offshore heavy-lift industry leader. The signing of this contract signifies that the company's capabilities in high-end offshore vessel R&D design, intelligent manufacturing, and quality control continue to receive high recognition from European and global international clients.
