On August 31, the company unveiled its 2026 interim figures, showing a roughly 8.2% decline in revenue to approximately HK$82.6 million. According to the announcement, the loss was largely driven by a fair value loss on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss. Additionally, the telecom business recorded a loss during the period, versus a profit in the same period of 2025, due to a saturated market, intensifying industry competition, and rising operating costs.
Furthermore, the group launched its fintech business in the second half of last year and initiated an AI strategy upgrade during the reporting period to expand into computing power services for AI infrastructure. These new ventures led to corresponding increases in employee benefit expenses and other operating expenditures.
