According to reports, DUIBA (01753) has surged more than 11% again, with its share price rising nearly ninefold in just two months since August 21. As of press time, it is up 9.52% at HK$1.15, with a turnover of HK$46.1855 million.
On the news front, the AI short drama sector has been heating up continuously across global markets recently, with various platforms ramping up their investments. Hongguo's daily active users hit 200 million in September, with average daily usage time reaching 166 minutes; WeChat entered the free short drama space with "Lvpaopao," as a national-level traffic gateway steps in directly, meaning short dramas are gradually upgrading to a platform-level track heavily bet on by major tech giants.
DUIBA entered the AI short drama track early this year, demonstrating outstanding hit-making capability. The company recently disclosed that its AI short drama business recorded net profit for three consecutive months in July, August, and September, with nationwide new playback volume exceeding 45.8 billion views in the third quarter, more than nine times the cumulative 5 billion views in the first half of the year. The company's current positioning has shifted to an AI-Native content platform, with its core competitiveness lying in a full-process AI workflow covering everything from scriptwriting to commercialization, along with a self-developed Agent matrix, transforming production from individual talent into systematic replication.
Additionally, according to institutional communication notes, based on monthly revenue exceeding 100 million yuan in June 2026 and the latest announcement confirming profitability of the AI short drama business in the third quarter, DUIBA is expected to generate revenue of no less than 800 million yuan in the second half of 2026 and no less than 1.2 billion yuan for the full year, with the company expected to achieve break-even or profitability for the entire year.
It is worth noting that A-share short drama concept stocks generally enjoy high valuations, while DUIBA trades at a PS ratio of only about 1 times based on full-year 2026 revenue of 1.2 billion yuan.
