State-Owned Enterprise Plans to Divest Solar Energy Stake

A state-owned enterprise has announced a bid to sell a 60% interest in the Shanwei Mingyang solar project, with a price tag of 19.4 million yuan.

The announcement was made by Guangdong Power Grid Energy Investment Co., Ltd. in a public tender notice released on August 7. The company is seeking to transfer its share of the Shanwei Mingyang Solar Project. The project is jointly owned by Guangdong Power Grid Energy Investment Co., Ltd. and Shanwei Huineng Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., with shareholding ratios of 60% and 40%, respectively.

A review of corporate registrations via the Tianyancha platform shows that Guangdong Power Grid Energy Investment Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd..
