Deep News10-27

To further strengthen food safety governance in internet catering and prevent and resolve online catering risks, the Yuncheng Market Regulation Bureau in Shanxi Province recently held a special exchange meeting on internet catering compliance and the implementation of primary responsibilities. First-level researcher Yun Peiqi delivered a speech.

Participants included relevant departments of the municipal bureau, the Yanhu District Market Regulation Bureau, the Development Zone Branch, the Yuncheng Food Science and Technology Society, food safety experts, and representatives of key online catering merchants.

The meeting provided a systematic interpretation of laws and regulations such as the Provisions on the Supervision and Administration of Food Safety Primary Responsibilities of Internet Catering Service Operators, requiring online catering merchants to take the initiative in assuming responsibility, uphold the bottom lines of the rule of law, integrity, and safety, strictly standardize the entire process of procurement, processing, storage, and sales, improve internal management systems, and actively accept regulatory inspections and social oversight, so as to achieve lawful, standardized, and conscientious operation.

Attendees exchanged remarks on the implementation of primary responsibilities in internet catering and standardized operation, and offered suggestions and countermeasures for common problems.

The meeting emphasized that food safety is a major livelihood project and a bottom-line project. It is necessary to stand at the political height of safeguarding people's well-being, maintaining social stability, and serving the overall development of the city, deeply understand the significance of doing a good job in internet catering food safety, strictly implement the "two responsibilities" of food safety, tighten and solidify territorial regulatory responsibilities and corporate primary responsibilities, routinely and standardly implement the "daily control, weekly inspection, monthly scheduling" working mechanism, and eliminate food safety risks and hidden dangers in the bud. It is also necessary to strictly implement the "four strictest" requirements, insist on punishing individuals and pursuing accountability to the end, never tolerate illegal food safety acts, form a strong deterrent, and make every effort to build a solid defense line for food safety across the city, effectively guaranteeing the public's dietary safety.
