Greatview Aseptic Packaging flags 88%–96% plunge in 1H26 earnings as export pricing and accounting changes bite

Bulletin Express07-16

Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited (GAPACK) issued a profit warning, projecting a sharp contraction in both revenue and earnings for the six months ended 30 June 2026.

Revenue Outlook • Management expects revenue to land between RMB731.80 million and RMB990.10 million, versus RMB1.01 billion in the prior-year period. The guidance implies a year-on-year decline ranging from 1.6% to 27.3%.

Earnings Outlook • Net profit is forecast at RMB3.40 million to RMB10.20 million, down 87.7% to 95.9% from RMB83.00 million a year earlier.

Key Drivers 1. Lower export unit prices and reduced order volumes after international sales were routed through subsidiaries controlled by the company’s International Business segment. 2. A March 2025 change in accounting treatment for the investment in Greatview Holdings International Limited, which has delayed recognition of share of profit until a pending court application is resolved.

Additional Information • The unaudited interim results are scheduled for release by end-August 2026. • GAPACK shares have been suspended from trading since 19 February 2025 and will remain halted until further notice.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
