Tencent Customer Service Addresses WeChat Moments Interface Update

Multiple iOS users recently reported noticeable changes to the page layout of their WeChat Moments feed compared to the previous version. User feedback indicates specific adjustments include the repositioning of text and images from "text on the right, image on the left" to "text above, image below." A new "Moments Album" entry has been added, allowing users to browse their historical posts by zooming in on years, months, or days. Some users also noted that the "Remind Who to See" feature has been renamed to something like "With Whom." Regarding the changes to the Moments page layout, Tencent customer service responded that the updates were made "to optimize the user experience and reduce disturbances caused by bulk, high-frequency promotional posts." They explained, "For instance, for multiple posts published in a short period, one will be displayed in full, while the rest can be viewed with a simple tap to expand." The service representative added that Tencent will continue efforts to enhance user experience and improve services, periodically providing software updates which may include replacements, modifications, feature enhancements, or version upgrades.
