Yizhuang Establishes World's Largest Super-Individual Community: Empowering Solo Entrepreneurs to Secure Major Contracts

Deep News04-09

Even a single individual can realize their entrepreneurial dreams with the help of AI. On April 8th, a new AI entrepreneurship incubation space—the Modulus OPC (One Person Company) Community—officially launched in Yizhuang. This initiative aims to build the world's largest OPC community, with plans to nurture 10,000 independent AI developers and 100 "super-individual" companies within two years, injecting new momentum into Beijing's artificial intelligence industry ecosystem.

The first phase of the innovation space, spanning 3,000 square meters, is now operational. In the AI era, a company can be run by just one or a few individuals. Unlike traditional companies, "super-individuals" empowered by artificial intelligence operate with higher efficiency, delegating many tasks to AI. These next-generation micro-enterprises utilize minimal assets to support substantial creative work while maintaining full delivery capabilities.

Located in Building 5, Area A of the National Information Technology Innovation Park, the initial 3,000-square-meter Modulus OPC Community innovation space has recently opened. Differing from conventional offices, its design emphasizes flexibility and collaboration. Open collaborative areas facilitate spontaneous idea exchanges, and adaptable workstations can be reconfigured based on project needs.

To support AI video generation and AIGC content creation for "super-individuals," the community has established a dedicated AI video and visual design workshop, complete with professional green screen studios and live-streaming rooms built directly into the facility. Equipped with cinematic lighting and a spacious shooting area accommodating teams of up to 20 people, the space enables everything from actor positioning to virtual scene compositing to be completed within the same building. Adjacent to the workshop are small project rooms, allowing creators to review footage immediately after shooting, significantly enhancing efficiency.

For hardware developers, the community has reserved functional spaces for activities such as 3D printing, with smart terminals further streamlining workflows.

"Super-individuals," despite their small scale, often face challenges like lack of tools, funding, scenarios, and services. To address these issues, the Modulus OPC Community provides tool empowerment by building intelligent agent infrastructure and implementing a data supervision sandbox mechanism. It also offers up to 300 million yuan annually in computing power vouchers, data vouchers, and model vouchers to tackle the "data without computing power" dilemma.

In terms of acceleration and growth, the community plans to introduce no fewer than 100 high-quality orders each year. It will also provide special funding support of up to 1 million yuan for open-source platforms and 2 million yuan for high-potential projects to facilitate application validation.

How can super-individuals secure large orders? The community's operational team categorizes incoming orders into two types: lightweight tasks manageable by a single OPC, and complex tasks requiring collaboration. For the latter, the community has established a unique safety net mechanism. By breaking down large orders into modular components through an internal collaboration network, the community provides credit endorsement and delivery guarantees for OPCs, ensuring successful service completion. This model enables solo "super-individuals" to undertake major projects, seamlessly bridging "small but refined" operations with "large market" opportunities.

As Yizhuang's first new entrepreneurial community centered on AI "super-individuals," the Modulus OPC Community has already begun forming an integrated AI talent ecosystem combining shared offices, talent apartments, social spaces, micro-transit services, and consumer amenities. This "work, live, commute, create" model has already attracted 20 OPCs as initial tenants.

Located less than 50 meters from the Modulus OPC Community is the nation's first full-cycle service station focused on AI super-individuals—the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Modulus OPC Community Enterprise Comprehensive Service Center. The center commenced operations recently, tailored to meet the flexible, lightweight, and rapidly iterative nature of OPC entrepreneurship. It serves as a one-stop platform integrating government services, growth mentoring, and resource connections.

Efficient AI entrepreneurship requires equally efficient services. To address startup challenges like complex procedures, the center pioneered a service mechanism featuring dedicated personnel, professional guidance, specialized counters, and accelerated processing. This enables company registration to be completed face-to-face in as little as one hour, significantly shortening traditional timelines and allowing entrepreneurs to seize market opportunities swiftly.

The service center also acts as the first step for "super-individuals" to integrate into the industrial ecosystem. Entrepreneurs who complete registration or filing here are automatically included in the "AI Super-Individual Talent Pool." Based on their skill profiles, project stages, and development needs, the system precisely matches them with key resources such as policy support, office space, capital connections, computing power assistance, and IP incubation, creating a virtuous cycle of "registration leads to connection, connection leads to service, service leads to growth."

"This is not just an office space but a testing ground for entrepreneurship in the AI era and an accelerator for 'super-individual' growth. The community will expand to 10,000 square meters in the future, providing even greater development opportunities for entrepreneurs," stated a representative from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
