Recently, China Mobile Limited (SEHK: 00941) Lianyungang Branch (referred to as "Lianyungang Mobile") joined hands with Lianyungang Experimental School to officially launch the Xiaochang Visual Dismissal System. The system publishes dismissal information in real time through LED large screens, voice broadcasts, and mobile mini-programs, making parent pick-ups more orderly and student departures safer, marking a new stage in the port city's smart campus safety management, moving from "manual supervision" to "digital-intelligent safeguarding."
In the past, during dismissal hours, the school gate was always crowded with parents. Some stood on tiptoe peering into the distance, while others repeatedly checked their watches, unsure whether their child's class had been dismissed. The mix of vehicle and pedestrian traffic created unbearable congestion. When teachers ran overtime or children were kept after class, parents grew even more anxious. Lianyungang Experimental School once faced the same predicament.
Now, the LED large screen at the school gate scrolls through each class's status in real time — "Class 4(1) dismissed" and "Class 4(2) not yet dismissed" are clear at a glance, with synchronized voice announcements. Parents can open the mobile mini-program to check class updates at any time and arrange pick-up schedules in advance. If a parent arrives late, the student will be taken by a teacher to the holding area and sign in via facial recognition; after the parent arrives at school and scans to sign in, the holding area screen immediately displays "Parent has arrived," and the student then scans their face to leave school. From student detention and parent sign-in to facial recognition departure, the entire process forms a closed loop that is safe and traceable.
One parent remarked: "Picking up my child used to feel like going to battle; now, watching the screen and listening to the broadcast, I feel much more at ease." Teachers also noted that the system automatically tracks early arrival, late arrival, and late pick-up data, making class management more refined. Lianyungang Mobile also completed platform integration and debugging free of charge and provided technical support, giving schools peace of mind and parents reassurance.
