Figures from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism show that domestic tourist trips reached 124 million over the holiday, marking a year-on-year increase of 4.4%.
Total tourism spending by domestic travelers amounted to 44.456 billion yuan, representing a growth of 4% compared to the same period last year.
