On the morning of December 18, Tencent issued an official statement addressing recent user concerns regarding its AI assistant Yuanbao. The company clarified that all comments marked with "Content by AI" are generated solely by Yuanbao AI, with no human operators or shift teams involved behind the scenes.

Additionally, Tencent stated that if users receive a response from Yuanbao without the "Content by AI" label, it indicates a genuine, manually crafted reply by a human editor—complete with thought and emotion.

Currently, Yuanbao has been integrated across Tencent’s major product comment sections, including WeChat Official Accounts, Video Channels, QQ Browser, Tencent News, QQ Music, Tencent Stock Picks, and Tencent Video, allowing users to tag the AI for interactions.

The company also highlighted that users can add Yuanbao as a friend on WeChat and QQ. On QQ, the AI supports one-click summarization of group chats, enabling it to process 999+ messages within seconds.
