Tencent Holdings Limited reported marginal growth in its issued share base and continued an active share‐buyback programme, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 29 September 2026.

Issued-share movement • On 29 September 2026, 12,175 new ordinary shares were allotted following option exercises under the 2023 Share Option Scheme at a volume-weighted average issue price of HKD 281.45. • The company’s outstanding share count rose to 9.10 billion shares, up by 0.00013 % from the previous day’s balance of 9.10 billion.

Ongoing share repurchases • Tencent repurchased 232,000 shares on 29 September 2026 via on-exchange transactions at prices between HKD 431.80 and HKD 439.40, for a total outlay of HKD 100.63 million. • Including this latest transaction, buybacks conducted from 8–29 September total 3.70 million shares yet to be cancelled, representing approximately 0.04 % of the company’s issued share capital prior to the repurchases. • Aggregate cash deployed for the 16 September repurchase trades amounts to about HKD 1.61 billion, implying an average purchase price of roughly HKD 434.33 per share.

Repurchase mandate utilisation • Since receiving shareholder approval on 13 May 2026 to repurchase up to 911.80 million shares, Tencent has bought back 47.85 million shares—equivalent to 0.52 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. • In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Tencent is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-stock sales following the latest repurchase, effective until 29 October 2026.
