Kuaishou Technology Bolsters Shareholder Return Strategy: 21.91 Million Class B Shares Repurchased Since 20 Aug; Only 8.7 Thousand New Shares Issued

Kuaishou Technology disclosed fresh capital-market activity to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 11 September 2026, highlighting an ongoing buyback programme and a marginal equity issuance under its Pre-IPO employee incentive scheme.

Minimal Dilution from Option Exercise • On 11 September, 8,700 new Class B shares were issued following the exercise of employee options priced at HKD 0.3273 each. • The issuance increased Class B shares outstanding to 3,664.13 million, equivalent to just 0.0002 % of the prior Class B share base, and lifted total issued share capital to 4,326.99 million shares (Class A unchanged at 662.86 million).

Accelerated Buyback Activity • Between 20 August and 11 September, the company repurchased 21.91 million Class B shares for cancellation, equivalent to about 0.51 % of total issued shares as at 10 September. • Aggregate cash outlay for these repurchases amounts to roughly HKD 736.76 million, implying an average purchase price of HKD 33.62 per share. • The latest tranche, executed on 11 September, involved 400,000 shares bought on-market at prices between HKD 31.22 and HKD 31.38, costing HKD 12.52 million.

Headroom Under Existing Mandate • The current general mandate, approved on 25 June 2026, authorises the repurchase of up to 432.69 million shares. • Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 34.21 million shares, representing 7.91 % of the authorised limit and 0.79 % of the issued share base on the mandate date.

Moratorium Period • In line with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), Kuaishou may not issue new shares for 30 days following the 11 September buyback, setting the blackout period through 11 October 2026.

Capital Structure Snapshot (post-transactions) • Class A shares: 662.86 million • Class B shares: 3,664.13 million • Total issued shares: 4,326.99 million • Repurchased but not yet cancelled: 21.91 million Class B shares
