XTALPI Issues Profit Alert, Anticipates First Full-Year Profit with Over 100 Million Yuan Net Income in 2025

Stock News03-03

XTALPI (02228) has announced that the group expects both its after-tax profit and profit attributable to equity shareholders to reach no less than RMB 100 million in 2025. This represents a significant turnaround from a loss to a profit, marking the company's first full-year profit. The anticipated improvement is primarily attributed to several factors: a substantial increase in revenue to no less than RMB 780 million for the 2025 fiscal year, representing a year-on-year growth of at least approximately 193%. This revenue surge has led to a narrowing of losses in the group's core businesses, which are smart robotics solutions and drug discovery solutions, compared to the 2024 fiscal year. Additionally, there was a major increase in the net fair value gain on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss, amounting to no less than RMB 500 million for the 2025 fiscal year. This figure is an increase of at least about 1,876% compared to the net fair value gain of approximately RMB 25.3 million recorded in the 2024 fiscal year. Furthermore, the 2025 fiscal year did not see any fair value loss on convertible redeemable preferred shares, unlike the 2024 fiscal year, during which the company recognized a fair value loss of approximately RMB 875.4 million on such instruments.
