Recently, embodied intelligence company Astribot announced that it has completed a new financing round of 1 billion yuan, with the company valuation reaching 15 billion yuan.
This financing round was led by Toukong Donghai (Shenzhen Investment Holdings), with participation from important state-owned and financial investors including Hongtai Fund, Ninghai Xingtaihe Fund managed by Guanghua Sunshine, and Shanheng Capital, while existing shareholder Xianmu followed on with additional investment. As a physical AI company facing the real world, Astribot uses general-purpose humanoid robots as its product carrier, and its core capabilities cover embodied intelligence models, robot operating systems, and rope-driven bodies.
In terms of commercial scenario deployment, Astribot's applications cover retail, cultural tourism, industry, scientific research, education, and other scenarios. "Under the concept of Design For AI, Astribot continues to be committed to using AI to define robots and using intelligence to unleash human creativity, advancing the company's long-term value realization with globally leading talent, product strength, and commercialization deployment, and creating a future world of human-machine coexistence, co-creation, and mutual benefit," said Lai Jie, founder and CEO of Astribot. He said investors are important "fellow travelers" of the company, and this financing round reflects recognition and market consensus from all parties regarding Astribot's core philosophy and its "AI model-embodied OS-rope-driven body" trinity full-stack architecture route, and will also become solid support for the company to accelerate product breakthroughs and commercial deployment.
It is reported that the funds from this financing round are planned to be used for model iteration, talent expansion, commercialization deployment, and production capacity construction, and will continue to be invested in building the trinity full-stack architecture, continuously tackling world-class challenges and promoting the transformation of technical capabilities into deliverable products and large-scale deployment capabilities. This is Astribot's fourth financing round completed in the past six months.
Public information shows that since March 2026, Astribot has successively completed its A+ round, A++ round, B round, and this current financing round. Among these, in June 2026 the company completed its B round series financing with a total amount exceeding 1 billion yuan, and its valuation exceeded 10 billion yuan for the first time; only three months later, it announced the completion of a new financing round, with a valuation reaching 15 billion yuan. Previously, Astribot had already received investment participation from Yunqi Capital, Matrix Partners China, ByteDance-affiliated JinQiu Fund, Ant Group, CAS Investment, and others.
After this financing round, Astribot's shareholder structure has formed a diversified high-quality shareholder structure of "state-owned funds + industrial groups + leading financial institutions." "Investors are important 'fellow travelers' and 'enablers' of the company," Lai Jie said. With the empowerment of various strategic shareholders, Astribot will continue to build higher technological and product barriers and accelerate production capacity construction, large-scale application, and global layout.
