Deep News02-02

The People's Government of Songjiang District in Shanghai has issued the "Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Shanghai's Songjiang District." The document mentions the implementation of a high-skilled talent cultivation plan. It aims to strengthen the development of platforms for nurturing high-skilled personnel.

The plan will fully leverage the demonstrative and leading role of new-type technician institutes, cultivating no fewer than 10 chief technician studios and adding no fewer than 20 chief technicians. The focus will specifically cover industries such as integrated circuits and aerospace.

Efforts to cultivate skilled talent for emerging industries will be intensified. Promoting the integration of courses and certifications will facilitate the connection between institutional training and evaluation, thereby accelerating the implementation of training programs for urgently needed and scarce occupations.

A favorable atmosphere for achieving success through skills will be fostered. Using competitions to promote training and evaluation, and seizing the opportunity of Shanghai hosting the 48th WorldSkills Competition, the district will fully ensure the training and preparation support for its participants.
