According to Zhengwei Group (2147)'s newly published Annual Report, covering the 18 months ended 30 June 2025, the company’s total revenue reached approximately RMB938.1 million, showing an increase from RMB445.2 million in the prior 12-month period. Despite higher revenue, the Group incurred a net loss of around RMB108.8 million, reversing a previous profit of approximately RMB67.5 million.
Management explained that a significant rise in direct material costs, coupled with a write-off of flood-damaged inventories of about RMB37 million, negatively impacted profitability and led to a gross loss. In addition, the company disposed of its former subsidiary, Jiangxi Zhengwei Food Co., resulting in an auditor’s qualified opinion due to limited access to that subsidiary’s full accounting records.
The report also outlines plans to introduce new snack products and widen sales channels in the People’s Republic of China. The Group remains focused on strengthening brand exposure through marketing initiatives and expanding its customer base across various regions.
