Under the guidance of the Zhejiang Financial Regulatory Bureau, the province's insurance association has innovatively introduced a combined model integrating "Party building, flash mobs, and consumer protection." It organized member companies to visit key locations such as communities, red education bases, and subway transport hubs, creating a multi-point, short-duration, and high-frequency interactive flash mob publicity matrix to make insurance concepts more dynamically accessible to the public.
The first flash mob event, a "Mobile Safety Market" within a wellness station, warmly opened in the morning of July 8th at the Jingfang Fourth District Wellness Station in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou. This activity focused on the elderly population. The Zhejiang Insurance Association organized five property insurance companies—Bohai Insurance, Ancheng Insurance, Guoren Insurance, Taishan Insurance, and Dongwu Insurance—to collaborate with the Kaixuan Street Police Station. They packaged insurance consultations, anti-fraud lectures, and convenient services into a "Mobile Safety Market" and brought it directly to elderly residents. The five property insurers set up mobile booths to popularize insurance knowledge while simultaneously providing warm services like blood pressure measurements. Police officers from Kaixuan Street Station deconstructed scams such as "impersonating customer service" and "investment for elderly care" using real cases, guiding residents step-by-step to download the "National Anti-Fraud Center" app.
In the afternoon, the second flash mob stop—an "Initial Aspiration Class" at the Integrity Exhibition Hall—commenced. The Zhejiang Insurance Association organized Party members and mass representatives from seven insurance companies to visit the Hangzhou Integrity Exhibition Hall. They conducted integrity culture learning through a "flash mob tour + micro-Party lecture" format, receiving ideological baptism and tempering Party spirit during the immersive visit, thereby promoting the deep integration of Party building with the "7.8" theme activities.
During this year's "7.8" campaign period, numerous insurance institutions across the province resonated with the "red flash mob" trend. Seizing the opportunity of the "July 1st" Party Founding Day, they organically combined the inheritance of red culture with the popularization of financial knowledge.
Allianz Life Zhejiang Branch visited the Pinghu Li Shutong Memorial Hall and the Quzhou Doolittle Raid Memorial Hall, organizing employees to collectively sing classic red songs and conduct red poetry recitation flash mobs. Bank of Communications Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch collaborated with a community social organization service center to host a special red song flash mob event in Hangzhou's Silver-Haired Fashion District, setting up a "Financial Knowledge Mini-Class" on-site to educate on risk prevention regarding pension scams and fake wealth management products. New China Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch coordinated with communities and villages to carry out a series of red-themed flash mob activities through forms like red movies, red song choruses, clapper talk performances, initial aspiration study tours, and a calligraphy exhibition themed on the Long March victory. They planned a themed education campaign titled "Financial Education Retraces the Long March, Consumer Protection Safeguards a New Journey," creating a distinctive publicity model of "financial classroom + cultural/sports activities + spiritual baptism." Taiping Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch organized employees to visit the Red Lane Life Hall and the Chairman Mao Inspects Xiaoying Lane Memorial Hall, conducting a flash mob with the theme "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration, Insurance Travels with You."
Subway and Landmark Screens Light Up Simultaneously
The Zhejiang Insurance Association launched a "Mobile Publicity Flash Mob" plan, utilizing high-frequency public travel scenarios for brand exposure. From July 1st to 8th, large LED screens at subway stations near West Lake in Hangzhou cyclically displayed "7.8" themed publicity posters. On July 8th, screens inside the carriages and on platforms along Hangzhou Metro Lines 1, 2, and 4 simultaneously scrolled with the "7.8" themed posters, creating a visual flash mob effect where "taking the metro means seeing insurance."
MetLife Zhejiang分公司集中 showcased "7.8" themed posters on the large outdoor LED screen at the "Hubin West Lake Sky Screen" in Hangzhou's core business district. The Shaoxing Insurance Association also displayed the posters on rooftop screens at Shaoxing Shimao business district and outdoor screens at Yintai business district, forming a combined publicity force and building momentum for the campaign.
Technology Empowerment and Public Welfare Initiatives Advance Together
Insurance institutions across the province closely followed the "7.8" theme, insisting on simultaneous advancement in technology empowerment and public welfare initiatives benefiting the people.
China Life Property & Casualty Insurance Zhejiang Branch, CMBC Cigna Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch, and Xingfu Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch produced and released short videos titled "Four Great Classical Novels Talk About Insurance," using AI technology to provide a modern interpretation of classic literary IPs. China Post Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch, in conjunction with the consumer protection joint publicity station of Mingya Insurance Brokerage Zhejiang Branch, published a "7.8" themed newspaper titled "Anti-Fraud Brings Good Rewards," using real cases to popularize knowledge on identifying illegal financial activities.
New China Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch established a regular volunteer assistance public welfare corner featuring "public welfare aiding the disabled + intangible cultural heritage display + Party building co-construction," promoting Miao embroidery works by disabled female embroiderers from Shibing, Guizhou, and characteristic handicrafts from the Disabled Persons' Home in Sijiqing Street. Guomin Pension Zhejiang Branch provided down-to-earth and heart-warming popular science services, offering safety protection for the elderly. China Post Life Insurance Zhejiang Branch created an "Anti-Fraud Carnival," focusing on learning while playing and integrating education with entertainment. Financial knowledge points were embedded into fun games; residents classified financial knowledge while playing beanbag toss and grasped anti-fraud key points in matching games.
Using the "Party Building Leads the Way, Flash Mobs Deliver Warmth" series of activities as a vehicle, the Zhejiang insurance industry brought the strength of Party building and the warmth of insurance to the people's side, transmitting positive industry energy and writing a vivid Zhejiang footnote for the theme "Forging Ahead in the '15th Five-Year Plan', Insurance Makes Moving Forward More Confident."
