CRO sector stocks led the afternoon gains.

As of press time, WUXI BIO (02269) rose 4.60% to HK$57.95; PHARMARON (03759) rose 3.99% to HK$32.88; Tigermed (03347) rose 3.80% to HK$47.04; WuXi AppTec (02359) rose 2.64% to HK$218.
