At the Network Audiovisual Technology Forum of the 13th China Internet Audio-Video Conference held on the afternoon of April 16, Lu Haibo, Director of the National Radio and Television Administration's Key Laboratory for 5G High-New Video Multi-Scenario Applications, and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of MangoTV, delivered a keynote speech titled "Breaking Barriers and Coexisting—Mango's Technological Response to Systemic Reform in Broadcasting."

Addressing topics related to "AI in broadcasting," Lu Haibo proposed three key approaches to overcoming challenges: breaking through content constraints, talent limitations, and tool restrictions, while fostering coexistence within the broadcasting AI ecosystem.

He cited examples of AI applications in MangoTV's variety shows such as "Singer 2025" and "Chinese Restaurant · African Season," as well as in the documentary "Taiwan Island Chronicle," cultural heritage content "National Treasure Fun Exploration Collection," and creative practices using the Shanhai AIGC content creation platform.

Lu Haibo highlighted that the standout advantages of the Shanhai AIGC platform lie in its highly controllable AI canvas, efficient team collaboration workflow, and specialized vertical models, all of which significantly benefit content production. "While general platforms grow from technology, Shanhai grows from content—this is our solution to breaking the tool barrier," he stated.

During his presentation, Lu Haibo also showcased Mango's "Ecosystem Partners – Co-Creation Panorama," clearly outlining its three-layer core structure. The foundation layer represents Mango's developmental roots, encompassing content scenarios, the Mango large model, and talent development. The middle layer consists of the Mango Cloud Pilot Platform, which hosts various internally refined products such as Shanhai AIGC, Chuangying Video Editing, and ultra-high-definition technologies. The top and broadest layer is Mango's ecosystem partner matrix, which includes peers from cloud services, large models, and the AIGC sector. Lu Haibo emphasized, "We are committed to serving as a testing ground and accelerator for AI innovation in broadcasting and will continue to pursue exploration and innovative practices."
