CCB's Jiamusi Branch Fined 20,500 Yuan for Failing to Submit Account Cancellation Data to Central Bank

On December 30, financial authorities imposed a penalty on China Construction Bank Corporation's Jiamusi branch. According to an administrative punishment disclosure from the People's Bank of China Jiamusi branch, the bank was cited for multiple violations including failure to submit account cancellation materials to the central bank.

The branch also failed to properly sort damaged and soiled renminbi according to regulations, and neglected to report changes to its credit system users to the People's Bank of China as required.

As a result, the branch received a formal warning and was fined a total of 20,500 yuan for these compliance failures.
