Lianlian DigiTech Co., Ltd. disclosed a net expansion of its H-share capital following employee option exercises and a small on-market buyback, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 28 September 2026.
The company issued a total of 1,431,500 new H shares between 22 and 25 September 2026 upon exercise of options granted under the 2021 Pre-IPO Share Option Scheme by non-director participants. All new shares were issued at an exercise price of RMB 2.96 per share, implying proceeds of approximately RMB 4.24 million.
Concurrently, on 28 September 2026, Lianlian DigiTech repurchased 80,500 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 3.235 to HKD 3.325 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 0.26 million. The repurchased shares are held as treasury shares.
After these transactions, issued shares (excluding treasury shares) increased by 0.31% to 431.71 million, while treasury shares rose to 40.05 million. The company’s total share count now stands at 471.76 million.
The buyback forms part of the mandate approved on 5 June 2026 authorising repurchases of up to 43.60 million shares; to date, 7.87 million shares (1.80% of issued shares at mandate date) have been repurchased under this authority. In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, Lianlian DigiTech is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 28 October 2026.
