The price of refined petroleum products in China is set for a new round of adjustments, effective from 24:00 on June 18th.
Currently, the statistical period for this price review, which spans 10 working days, has completed one working day of data collection this week.
The preliminary forecast indicates a price reduction of 60 yuan per ton, which has already met the threshold for a downward adjustment.
Based on this projected decrease, the prices for gasoline and diesel are expected to fall further by 0.05 to 0.06 yuan per liter.
Motorists may wish to take note, as the fuel prices that were lowered at the beginning of June have the potential to decrease again in the upcoming adjustment, though the final outcome will be subject to official confirmation.
With 11 days remaining until the price adjustment takes effect, there is hope that the price of oil will decline even more.
It is important to note that, according to national regulations, the prices of gasoline and diesel are reviewed and adjusted every 10 working days, with any changes taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced.
