Yadea Group Holdings Ltd. (YADEA) has named Professor He Ping, 45, as an independent non-executive director (INED) and member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees, effective 18 June 2026.

Professor He is currently Head of the Energy Science and Engineering Department at Nanjing University’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on energy materials electrochemistry and battery technology. He has authored more than 210 international journal papers, largely in high-impact publications including Nature, and holds over 20 patents across Japan and China. He serves as Associate Editor of Energy & Fuels under the American Chemical Society and was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2024.
