Archer Aviation Inc. (ACHR) shares plummeted 5.05% in post-market trading on Monday, following the release of the company's fourth-quarter financial results.
The electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft maker reported a quarterly loss of $0.26 per share, missing the analyst consensus estimate of a $0.24 loss. Revenue for the quarter came in at $0.3 million, significantly below the $666.67 thousand analysts had anticipated. Furthermore, the company's adjusted EBITDA loss of $137.9 million was wider than the estimated $121.8 million loss.
Investors reacted negatively to the company's outlook, with Archer guiding to a first-quarter adjusted EBITDA loss of $160 million to $180 million, a figure that exceeds Wall Street's expectations and indicates higher-than-anticipated spending for early 2026.
