Sony jumped over 3% in morning trading as it announced new electric-vehicle unit at CES 2022.
Sony Group will establish a new company for electric vehicles this spring, its chairman said, becoming the latest tech company to beef up its ambitions in the fast-growing market.
It also announced a new electric-vehicle unit, Sony Mobility Inc., and unveiled a prototype of its latest concept car Tuesday night at CES 2022.
