Reports have emerged indicating that Ant International, the Singapore-registered overseas division of Ant Group Co., Ltd., is planning to raise approximately $1 billion to accelerate its business expansion and potentially pave the way for an initial public offering in Hong Kong as soon as this year.

The funding round could value the entity at or above $10 billion.

When approached for comment on these reports, Ant Group declined to provide any statement.

Public information shows that Ant International operates three core products: Alipay+, Antom (formerly known as Antom Global), and WorldFirst. The company provides services to global financial institutions and merchants, covering areas such as payment and account services, scenario-based finance, treasury management, and cutting-edge AI-driven financial innovation.

Its business spans markets across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, processing an average of over 20 million transactions daily.
