BUTONG Group Buys Back 40,700 Shares, Lifts Treasury Stock to 1.97 Million

On 8 July 2026, BUTONG Group executed an on-market repurchase of 40,700 ordinary shares, spending HKD 1.17 million at prices ranging between HKD 28.26 and HKD 28.84 per share. The volume-weighted average price was HKD 28.78.

Following the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.05% to 88.78 million, while total issued share capital remained unchanged at 90.75 million shares. Treasury stock increased to 1.97 million shares, equivalent to 2.18% of total issued shares.

The buy-back forms part of a mandate approved on 5 June 2026 that authorises repurchases of up to 9.03 million shares. To date, 1.51 million shares—1.67% of the share base at the mandate date—have been repurchased under this authority.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 7 August 2026.
