Three new 10,000-ton berths at Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi are nearing operational readiness, following the completion and acceptance of the second phase of the Nan No.7 to Nan No.10 Berth Project in the Beimu Operation Area of Tieshangang West Port Zone, Beihai Port. The project, undertaken by Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd., will add an annual cargo throughput capacity of 6.23 million tons, further expanding Beihai Port's maritime connectivity, optimizing port functionality, and enhancing its hub capabilities.

The Nan No.7 to Nan No.10 Berth Project is a key initiative under the Three-Year Action Plan (2023–2025) for Infrastructure Upgrades at the Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port, part of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor. It includes three 10,000-ton multi-purpose berths and one 50,000-ton general-purpose berth, with a total shoreline length of 746 meters and a designed annual throughput capacity of 8.03 million tons.

Upon operation, the project will accelerate the transformation and modernization of the Shibuling Port Area, improve the port’s shipping service system, and strengthen the competitiveness of the Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port, supporting higher levels of openness.

Moving forward, Beihai Port will ensure the safe, stable, and compliant operation of the new berths, helping reduce logistics costs for hinterland enterprises, boosting regional trade, and fostering industrial agglomeration.
