NEW WORLD DEV (00017) has issued an announcement clarifying recent media speculation regarding potential investments in the company, its "11 SKIES" project, and its financing arrangements.

Concerning potential investment in the company, it has made inquiries with its controlling shareholder (Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited) and was informed that: (a) there has been no significant progress on the matters detailed in the company's announcement dated January 30, 2026; and (b) no agreements have been reached with any potential investors, including regarding the amount, nature, or form of any such potential investment.

Regarding the group's "11 SKIES" project, the company has been in discussions with the Hong Kong Airport Authority ("HKAA") to review and/or explore the possibility of any changes to the contractual arrangements for the project. These discussions are still ongoing, and the company has not reached any agreement with the HKAA on changes to the contractual arrangements for the "11 SKIES" project.

As for the group's financing arrangements, the group will manage its financing arrangements with lenders as part of its ordinary business processes and is not aware of any timeline for resetting the terms of the group's financing.
