On December 11, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 129.45, down 0.01 points from the previous day, while the "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index was 132.20, also declining by 0.01 points. As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork was 17.62 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from yesterday; beef was 65.95 yuan/kg, down 0.3%; lamb was 62.24 yuan/kg, down 0.8%; eggs were 7.47 yuan/kg, down 0.4%; and dressed chicken was 17.72 yuan/kg, down 1.6%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.93 yuan/kg, down 0.7%, while the average price of six key fruits remained unchanged at 7.51 yuan/kg. Crucian carp prices fell 2.3% to 19.14 yuan/kg, carp dropped 0.1% to 14.13 yuan/kg, silver carp rose 0.3% to 10.45 yuan/kg, and large hairtail declined 1.8% to 38.77 yuan/kg. Among the 46 key agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets today, the top five gainers were watermelon (up 2.3%), pineapple (up 0.9%), scallion (up 0.6%), cauliflower (up 0.5%), and zucchini (up 0.4%). The top five decliners were lettuce (down 4.0%), spinach (down 2.9%), crucian carp (down 2.3%), pumpkin (down 2.2%), and cowpea (down 2.1%).
