AUSTAR (06118) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group achieved revenue of RMB 744 million, marking a 12.48% increase year-over-year. Profit attributable to owners of the company stood at RMB 8.463 million, reflecting a significant decrease of 66.15% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.02.
Revenue recognized during the review period posted double-digit growth against the corresponding period in 2025. Cash flow generated from operating activities also surged by approximately 126.6%.
However, order intake during the review period experienced a decline. This reduction is attributed to management's more cautious approach when accepting projects, prioritizing those with higher profit margins and more favorable payment terms. This strategic shift was implemented to avoid taking on unnecessary risks stemming from intensifying competition, particularly within the Chinese market.
