CHK Oil Ends Service Contract of Executive Director Wong Wai Sze with Immediate Effect

CHK Oil Limited announced that its board has terminated the service contract of Ms. Wong Wai Sze, signed on 1 August 2025. Effective immediately, Ms. Wong no longer holds the positions of executive director and vice-chairman.

According to the board, there is no disagreement between Ms. Wong and the directors, nor are there matters requiring shareholder or Hong Kong Stock Exchange attention. The board also stated that the change is not expected to adversely impact the Group’s operations.

As of 27 July 2026, the board comprises four executive directors—Mr. Yu Zhibo (chairman), Mr. Jin Ailong, Mr. Wong Chung Kin Quentin and Mr. Lam Pui Wang—one non-executive director, Mr. Zheng Ye, and three independent non-executive directors, Ms. Zhong Bifeng, Ms. Huang Qingwei and Mr. Chen Yawei.
