In May, with pleasant weather and thriving growth, the 92nd National Pharmaceutical Trade Fair, the 94th China International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials/Intermediates/Packaging/Equipment Trade Fair, and the 2026 China International Health and Nutrition Expo were grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The events thoroughly implemented the national strategic deployment of Healthy China, actively practiced the development philosophy centered on people's health, led pharmaceutical industry innovation with a global perspective, promoted quality and efficiency through industrial chain integration, and injected new momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
The scale of the exhibitions was grand, featuring a comprehensive display of the entire industry chain. The total exhibition area exceeded 180,000 square meters, attracting over 200,000 attendees. More than 3,000 high-quality enterprises from the global pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors participated, showcasing over a hundred categories and hundreds of thousands of products. These included pharmaceutical raw materials, excipients, natural products, pharmaceutical packaging, manufacturing equipment, pharmaceutical preparations, medical consumables, and health nutrition products, comprehensively presenting the cutting-edge trends and rich ecosystem of the healthcare industry. Concurrently, over a hundred professional conferences were held, bringing together more than 550 industry authorities, renowned scholars, and corporate leaders to focus on hot topics and gain insights into the industry's future.
Innovation drives development, building full-chain services. The joint hosting of the three exhibitions connected the entire industry chain of pharmaceuticals and health nutrition, promoting efficient upstream-downstream collaboration and resource exchange. A series of new product launch events were jointly created, establishing a platform for premieres and stimulating product innovation vitality. Special activities, such as the demonstration zone for full-chain solutions for innovative drugs, were created to build a key arena for the value conversion and global layout of innovative drugs, injecting new momentum into the industry's high-quality development. Concurrently, the 2026 Pharmaceutical Innovation Beacon Forum & Innovative Drug Ecosystem Conference and a series of forums were held, fully leveraging their role as an industry bellwether to plan ecosystem construction, build an industrial ecology, and establish a one-stop platform for communication, cooperation, achievement transformation, and market expansion.
Conferences and forums focused on ecology, with collaborative governance leading the direction. Multiple thematic conferences and forums were held during the exhibition period, pooling industry wisdom and leading trends. The China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce hosted the "Pharmaceutical Industry Chain Industrial-Commercial Synergy and Compliance Co-governance Seminar," promoting the shift from "point-based compliance" to "chain-based co-governance" in the pharmaceutical industry chain. The Pharmaceutical Distribution Industry Supply-Side Structural Reform and Innovation Forum (Tenth Season) was held, jointly discussing the profound changes and future direction faced by the drug distribution industry in the new era to better serve the national healthcare agenda. The Fourth Innovative Drug Supplier Conference was jointly hosted, responding to the national strategy of full-chain support for innovative drug development, exploring opportunities in pharmaceutical innovation, and jointly building a new ecosystem of industrial synergy.
Linking and synergy pooled efforts to enhance overall influence. Leveraging the platform advantages of the exhibitions, multiple enterprises organized a collective appearance, showcasing their quality products and comprehensive industry chain layout. Within the innovative drug full-chain solutions demonstration zone, an integrated CSO service, R&D cooperation projects, and comprehensive innovative drug R&D capabilities were jointly displayed. Group-affiliated enterprises deeply participated in multiple high-level conferences and forums, exchanging views on hot topics such as industrial policy, innovation and R&D, and supply chain upgrades, consolidating development consensus and enhancing the group's industry influence.
To further strengthen internal marketing synergy, an industrial enterprise marketing workshop was held during the exhibition, organized and jointly undertaken. Over a hundred sales and business unit heads from the group's headquarters and subordinate industrial enterprises participated. Through professional training, case sharing, and exchange discussions, the workshop aimed to advance the construction of a marketing internal control system and promote efficient internal production-sales linkage and deep business integration.
In October and November 2026, the three major exhibitions will be held in Beijing and Wuhan respectively, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical industry.
