GCL TECH Adds 20 Million Shares to Treasury with HK$12.20 Million On-Market Buyback

GCL Technology Holdings Limited (GCL TECH) disclosed that it repurchased 20 million ordinary shares on 16 July 2026 via on-market transactions at HK$0.61 per share, for a total consideration of HK$12.20 million.

Post-transaction, the company’s treasury-share holdings increased from 1.02 billion to 1.04 billion shares, while outstanding shares (excluding treasury stock) declined by 0.06% to 32.18 billion. Total issued shares remained at 33.22 billion.

The buyback forms part of a shareholder-approved mandate passed on 29 May 2026 that authorises the company to repurchase up to 3.32 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.04 billion shares, representing 3.13% of GCL TECH’s issued share count at the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, GCL TECH is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 15 August 2026.
