On the news front, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Commercial Rocket Co., Ltd. recently convened its 2026 annual work conference. The meeting emphasized resolutely winning the critical battle for the maiden flight and recovery of the main rocket, making a full push to achieve breakthroughs in reusable technology, and efficiently fulfilling commercial launch missions. Dongwu Securities noted that against the backdrop of an accelerating race for space resources, China is speeding up the development of its commercial space sector, with the number of satellite applications exceeding 250,000. The commercial space market presents vast opportunities, with the global space market projected to exceed USD 800 billion by 2030. Concurrently, Elon Musk is actively promoting the construction of ground-based and space-based photovoltaic systems for Tesla and SpaceX. A CMB International research report pointed out that DRINDA is taking a leading role in deploying low Earth orbit (LEO) and space photovoltaic technologies. The company recently disclosed plans to invest CNY 30 million in cash to acquire a 16.67% stake in Shanghai Xingyi Xinneng, becoming its second-largest shareholder. The two parties will establish a joint venture primarily focused on CPI film and products combining CPI film with crystalline silicon solar cells, aiming to enter the LEO and space photovoltaic market. The company's financial statements currently indicate remaining momentum, leaving open the possibility for further mergers and acquisitions within related sectors. By pioneering the expansion from ground-based photovoltaics to space-based photovoltaics, and leveraging its advantages and deep experience in large-scale crystalline silicon manufacturing, DRINDA is well-positioned to capture new growth opportunities in the global low-orbit satellite and space computing power industry.
