Leapmotor D19 Set for April 2026 Launch and Delivery; First MPV Model D99 Unveiled

At the Leapmotor 10th anniversary event held on December 28, Cao Li, Senior Vice President of Leapmotor Technology, delivered a keynote speech.

During the presentation, Cao introduced the first model in the Leapmotor D series—the Leapmotor D19—positioned as a technologically advanced luxury flagship SUV. In terms of intelligent features, the new vehicle is equipped with two Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8797 chips, delivering a computing power of 1280 TOPS, and supports an on-device large model cockpit and VLA-assisted driving functions.

For powertrain options, the vehicle will be available in both all-electric and extended-range versions. The extended-range version is fitted with an 80.3 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 500 km. The all-electric version adopts a 1000V high-voltage platform, equipped with a 115 kWh battery, achieving a range of up to 720 km.

The Leapmotor D19 is scheduled to officially launch and begin deliveries in April 2026.

Additionally, Cao Li also revealed the second product in the Leapmotor D series—the brand’s first MPV model, the Leapmotor D99, positioned as a tech-focused luxury flagship MPV. The Leapmotor D99 measures over 5.2 meters in length, nearly 2 meters in width, and has a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters.
