On Thursday, South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index reached a new record high, while shares of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. also climbed to an all-time peak. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index surpassed 58,000 points for the first time, with both the Nikkei 225 and the TOPIX index setting new record highs. Meanwhile, long-term Japanese government bond yields declined across the board. The yield on 30-year bonds fell by 5 basis points to 3.445%, while the 40-year bond yield dropped by 5.5 basis points to 3.67%. Updates to follow.
