DAMAI ENT (01060) saw its shares surge more than 4% in late trading. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 4.35%, trading at HKD 0.96 with a turnover of HKD 201 million.

On the news front, with the Spring Festival movie lineup gearing up, four domestic films have officially announced their release dates: "Jing Zhe Wu Sheng," "Biao Ren: Feng Qi Da Mo," "Fei Chi Ren Sheng 3," and "Xiong Chu Mei: Nian Nian You Xiong." China Securities (CSC) pointed out that DAMAI ENT exhibits high participation during the Spring Festival period. Currently, the company is the lead investor for both "Jing Zhe Wu Sheng" and "Biao Ren: Feng Qi Da Mo" and is also expected to be the primary distributor.

Notably, on January 15, Alibaba held a launch event for its Qianwen App, officially releasing Qianwen Task Assistant 1.0. The businesses integrated with this version of the Qianwen App now extend beyond Taobao, Taobao Flash Sales, 1688, Freshippo (Hema), and AliHealth, also covering Amap, Youku, DAMAI ENT, Alipay, and Cainiao. This ecosystem spans Alibaba's e-commerce and retail sectors, as well as local services, entertainment, payment, and logistics infrastructure.

Northeast Securities highlighted that Alibaba is leveraging DAMAI ENT to strategically position itself in the offline entertainment market, encompassing areas such as event ticketing, movie ticketing, and IP derivative businesses.
