China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd. (CGS) announced a significant leadership transition effective 30 March 2026. Mr. Liang Shipeng has relinquished his roles as Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Executive Committee member and all other positions within CGS and its subsidiaries. The company confirmed Liang’s departure was due to work-arrangement adjustments; he reported no disagreement with the board and cited no matters requiring shareholder or creditor attention.
Concurrently, CGS appointed two seasoned executives:
• Ms. Guo Chen is now Vice President, Executive Committee member and Chief Risk Officer. Guo, born February 1975, holds a master’s degree in economics and brings more than 27 years of risk-management experience. Her previous roles include senior positions at Central Huijin Investment Ltd. and China Investment Corporation, where she most recently served as deputy director of the Risk Management Department before joining CGS in December 2025.
• Ms. Sun Jing, born June 1980 and holding a master’s degree in management, has been named Vice President and Executive Committee member. Sun’s career spans over two decades at China International Capital Corporation Limited, where she led several departments, including Capital Markets and Asset Management, and managed CICC Fund Management Co., Ltd., before moving to CGS in March 2026.
The board, chaired by Mr. Wang Sheng, expressed gratitude to Liang for his contributions and formally welcomed Guo and Sun to their new posts.
As of the announcement date, CGS’s board comprises three executive directors, four non-executive directors and four independent non-executive directors.
