Guangzhou Automobile Group Co.,Ltd. (601238.SH) has announced a plan to broaden its financing channels, enhance its debt structure, and cut financing costs to support its operational capital needs.
Under the proposal, the company will apply to the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII) for a unified registration to issue debt financing instruments (DFI) with a total principal amount not exceeding 15 billion yuan (inclusive). The instruments will include ultra-short-term commercial paper, short-term commercial paper, medium-term notes, and perpetual notes.
After deducting issuance expenses, the net proceeds from the offering will be used to repay interest-bearing liabilities, supplement working capital, and fund equity investments, according to the company's filing.
