The Indian government has announced a reduction in export taxes on diesel, gasoline, and aviation fuel for the first half of June.
The special additional excise duty on gasoline has been halved to 1.5 Indian rupees per liter.
The export tax on diesel has been lowered from 16.5 Indian rupees per liter to 13.5 Indian rupees per liter.
The export tax on aviation fuel has been reduced from 16 Indian rupees per liter to 9.5 Indian rupees per liter.
These tax rates are reviewed and adjusted every two weeks, based on the international average prices of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel since the previous assessment.
