Stock Track | Trane Technologies Soars 6.64% in Pre-market on Q2 Earnings Beat and Raised Guidance

Stock Track07-30

Trane Technologies PLC (NYSE: TT) surged 6.64% in pre-market trading on Thursday, rallying sharply after the company reported second-quarter results that exceeded Wall Street expectations and raised its full-year outlook.

The building solutions provider posted adjusted earnings of $4.31 per share, topping the analyst consensus of $4.26, while revenue climbed 11% year-over-year to $6.35 billion, beating estimates of $6.20 billion. The strong performance was driven by robust growth in its Americas Commercial HVAC segment, with record bookings and a backlog of $12.1 billion supporting the revenue momentum. The company also lifted its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $15.20 to $15.30, well above the $14.92 FactSet consensus, and now expects reported revenue growth of about 11.5%.

The positive results helped dispel sector-wide concerns that had weighed on the stock earlier in the week, after peer Carrier Global's disappointing earnings triggered a broad sell-off in building products shares. With Trane's beat-and-raise quarter, investor confidence was quickly restored, fueling the pre-market advance.
