Information from market sources indicates that according to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on June 25th, COBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT, SGIIC, S.A. increased its holding in CHINA EDU GROUP (HKEX: 00839) by approximately 198 million shares. The transaction price per share was around HK$2.5521, resulting in a total consideration of roughly HK$505 million.
Following this acquisition, the fund's latest shareholding stands at about 198 million shares, representing a stake of 7.09% in the company.
