Deep News01-04

Tmall's New Year Shopping Festival commenced with spot sales starting today, January 4th. This year's event features a simplified discount structure, offering official instant discounts starting from 15% off, which can be combined with consumer vouchers for savings of up to 23% off. Categories such as beauty, apparel, 3C digital products, and sports/outdoor gear are providing top-tier category-specific coupons worth up to 3,421 yuan, accessible to consumers by searching for "Coupon Center." The first wave of 88VIP consumer vouchers is divided into three tiers: 25 yuan off for purchases over 200 yuan, 60 yuan off for purchases over 480 yuan, and 200 yuan off for purchases over 2,000 yuan, catering to diverse bulk purchasing needs for the holiday.

A new round of national subsidies has officially begun, and when combined with Tmall's festival discounts, essential holiday items like air conditioners, televisions, washing machines, refrigerators, and water heaters are available at discounts of up to 50% off. The range of subsidized categories continues to expand, with AI glasses being included in the national subsidy program for the first time. As a new product category, AI glasses experienced explosive growth on Tmall last year, and as of now, transaction volume for 2025 has increased more than 15-fold year-over-year.
