At the 2026 World Robot Conference forum, held in Beijing from August 19-22, JD.com's robotics division head, Xu Lei, disclosed significant sales milestones for the company's robotic product lines.

Xu Lei stated that after achieving over 10,000 units sold in quadruped robots last year, the company has now also surpassed the 10,000-unit sales threshold for its humanoid robots this year. Specifically within the humanoid robot category, this year's sales volume has grown ninefold compared to the previous year.

He further noted that when consolidating all embodied robots—including quadruped, humanoid, and companion types—the overall market size expands even further. "At yesterday's opening ceremony, our group officially announced the JD Cluster strategic layout: over the next three years, we will support 100 robot brands, with the goal of helping each brand achieve over one billion yuan in annual revenue," he said.
