HANS CNC Surges Over 6% as Global AI Infrastructure Investments Boost PCB Sector Outlook

Stock News15:30

HANS CNC (03200) rose more than 6%, climbing 6.55% to HK$128.6 by the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$163 million. First Shanghai highlighted that increased investment in AI computing infrastructure is creating growth opportunities for global PCB equipment leaders. The company is capitalizing on industry growth by addressing the technical demands for ultrafast laser processing in double-sided HDI boards used in Rubin and future AI PCB products, where its ultrafast laser drilling systems hold a strong competitive position. HANS CNC has initiated cooperative validation with major downstream manufacturers, completed sample deliveries with most, and advanced rapidly with some partners. The laser drilling system for the M9 solution has already received certification from NVIDIA, with mass shipments anticipated by 2026. Dongguan Securities noted that the high-growth momentum in the PCB industry is expected to continue. Based on earlier performance forecasts, the PCB sector is set for robust earnings growth in 2025, driven by sustained demand for AI computing and the industry's shift toward high-performance, high-density PCBs. This trend is increasing demand for high-layer count boards, advanced HDI, and high-value products, while also boosting growth in high-end copper-clad laminates, drill bits, consumables, and equipment.
