June Sales Data for Various Construction Machinery Types Shows Mixed Performance

Data from the China Construction Machinery Association on major manufacturers reveals that sales of graders in June 2026 reached 1,004 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 31.6%. Domestic sales accounted for 92 units, a decline of 34.8%, while exports totaled 912 units, surging by 46.6%. For the first half of 2026, cumulative grader sales were 5,084 units, up 17.1% year-on-year. Domestic sales for the period were 661 units, down 19.2%, and exports were 4,423 units, rising 25.5%.

Mobile Crane Sales Report

Sales of mobile cranes in June 2026 were 1,955 units, an 18.6% increase from the previous year. Domestic sales were 1,035 units, up 14.9%, and exports were 920 units, growing 23%. From January to June 2026, total mobile crane sales reached 12,406 units, a 15.4% rise. Domestic sales for the half-year were 7,167 units, up 17.8%, while exports were 5,239 units, increasing 12.2%.

Crawler Crane Performance

Sales of crawler cranes in June 2026 stood at 377 units, a significant year-on-year growth of 32.7%. Domestic sales were 88 units, down 4.35%, whereas exports were 289 units, jumping 50.5%. In the first six months of 2026, total crawler crane sales were 2,120 units, a 35.4% increase. Domestic sales for the period were 531 units, up 7.49%, and exports were 1,589 units, soaring 48.2%.

Lorry-Mounted Crane Figures

Sales of lorry-mounted cranes in June 2026 were 2,140 units, marking a 21.5% decrease. Domestic sales were 1,535 units, down 17.9%, and exports were 605 units, falling 29.2%. For the first half of 2026, total sales were 12,631 units, a decline of 5.88%. Domestic sales for the period were 9,793 units, down 5.88%, and exports were 2,838 units, also down 5.87%.

Tower Crane Sales Data

Sales of tower cranes in June 2026 were 504 units, a 15.3% increase. Domestic sales were 240 units, up 10.6%, and exports were 264 units, rising 20%. For the January-June period, total tower crane sales were 2,373 units, down 14.4%. Domestic sales for the half-year were 1,196 units, a 20% decrease, while exports were 1,177 units, down 7.76%.

Industrial Vehicle Statistics

Excluding electric pedestrian warehouse vehicles, sales of forklifts in June 2026 totaled 62,261 units, a 16.9% increase. Domestic sales were 39,250 units, up 12.5%, and exports were 23,011 units, rising 25.3%. For the first half of 2026, cumulative sales reached 334,839 units, a 9.06% increase. Domestic sales were 215,114 units, up 2.93%, and exports were 119,725 units, up 22.1%. Including all types, total forklift sales in June 2026 were 160,742 units, a 16.8% rise. Domestic sales, including 1,217 AGVs, were 98,919 units, up 17.9%. Exports, including 13 AGVs, were 61,823 units, up 15.2%. For the first six months, total forklift sales were 861,934 units, a 16.6% increase. Domestic sales, including 5,416 AGVs, were 543,849 units, up 14.2%. Exports, including 552 AGVs, were 318,085 units, up 21%.

Road Roller Market Analysis

Sales of road rollers in June 2026 were 2,033 units, a 23.1% year-on-year increase. Domestic sales were 502 units, down 28.3%, while exports were 1,531 units, surging 61%. For the January-June period, total sales were 11,575 units, up 22.8%. Domestic sales for the half-year were 3,323 units, down 8.36%, and exports were 8,252 units, up 42.3%.

Paver Sales Overview

Sales of pavers in June 2026 were 193 units, a 6.04% increase. Domestic sales were 90 units, down 31.3%, while exports were 103 units, more than doubling with a 102% increase. For the first half of 2026, total paver sales were 952 units, up 6.97%. Domestic sales for the period were 532 units, down 18.4%, and exports were 420 units, up 76.5%.

Aerial Work Platform Performance

Sales of aerial work platforms in June 2026 were 24,733 units, a strong 37.7% increase. Domestic sales were 10,411 units, up 38.7%, and exports were 14,322 units, up 36.9%. For the first six months of 2026, total sales were 111,567 units, a 20.6% rise. Domestic sales for the period were 36,202 units, down 1.35%, while exports were 75,365 units, up 35.1%.

Aerial Work Truck Sales Report

Sales of aerial work trucks in June 2026 were 392 units, a 27.3% decrease. Domestic sales were 349 units, down 31.4%, while exports were 43 units, up 43.3%. For the January-June period, total sales were 2,499 units, a modest 2.21% increase. Domestic sales for the half-year were 2,333 units, up 0.91%, and exports were 166 units, up 24.8%.
