Deep News10-16

J&T Express-W (01519) rose more than 3% during intraday trading, and as of press time, the stock was up 2.28%, quoted at HK$9.195, with a turnover of HK$83.5731 million.

Recently, J&T Express released its operating data for the third quarter of 2026. The company's overall parcel volume in the third quarter of 2026 reached 9.584 billion pieces, up 24.8% year on year, of which Southeast Asia accounted for 2.886 billion pieces, up 44.5% year on year; China accounted for 6.428 billion pieces, up 15.3% year on year; and other markets accounted for 271 million pieces, up 159.5% year on year.

Shenwan Hongyuan pointed out that in Q3 2026, J&T Express's Southeast Asia region was affected by macroeconomic disturbances such as oil prices and exchange rates, creating temporary disruptions to transportation costs and regional demand. Relying on mature localized operations, fuel surcharge pass-through mechanisms and other hedging measures, the company still achieved 44.5% parcel volume growth amid external disturbances. The brokerage is optimistic that parcel volume in Southeast Asia will maintain a relatively high growth rate going forward, and profitability stability is expected to further strengthen.

In addition, in Q3 2026, parcel volume growth in other markets still maintained more than double year-on-year growth, with elasticity significantly higher than that of the main domestic and Southeast Asian markets.
