In the first three quarters of 2026, Montage Technology (06809) benefited from the AI industry trend, with a significant increase in shipments of its interconnect chips, driving substantial growth in operating performance compared to the same period last year.

The company reported operating revenue of 5.414 billion yuan, up 33.4% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 3.237 billion yuan, up 98.3% year-on-year; and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 2.327 billion yuan, up 58.6% year-on-year.

The reasons for the substantial increase in net profit in the first three quarters of 2026 are as follows: (1) operating revenue grew 33.4% year-on-year; (2) product structure optimization 鈥?as the revenue share of DDR5 new-generation RCD chips and new interconnect chip products increased, the gross margin of interconnect chips reached 68.9%, up 4.1 percentage points year-on-year, driving gross profit of 3.583 billion yuan, up 43.7% year-on-year; (3) investment income and fair value change gains totaled 904 million yuan, up 709.0% year-on-year.

In addition, the appreciation of the RMB against the USD in the first three quarters of 2026 resulted in a foreign exchange loss of 238 million yuan on the company's foreign currency assets (mainly proceeds from its H-share issuance), compared with a foreign exchange loss of 17 million yuan in the same period last year, which had a certain negative impact on profit for the period.
